Meet me!

Hi! My name is Anvitha Bavirisetti and I am SOO ecstatic that you're here! I am 19 years old and currently a freshman at UNC Chapel Hill majoring in Information Science. I love to stay busy and be as productive as I can. (I know crazy right haha) But it gets even crazier once you find out that I enjoy cleaning for fun(yes that's right I genuinely and wholeheartedly enjoy cleaning). Aside from cleaning and staying productive, I love to spend time with my family and friends and most importantly my time with Jesus is most precious. 

My relationship with the Lord has certainly been a unique experience. It all truly started when I chose to publicly accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior by getting baptized when I was about 13 years old. However, it wasn't until I was about 16 years old until I wholeheartedly and genuinely started to understand the power of God's presence and understanding what it means to have a genuine relationship with the Lord. As time went on, I only grew closer to the Lord and its when life got more tough that I truly began to grow deeper and closer to the Lord. Fast forward to 2020, months before I turned 18, which is when I started to grow even deeper in my relationship with Jesus. In March of 2020, right after Covid hit, I started to feel more anxious and lonely which led me to fill my bedroom walls with scripture to remind me that God's word is living and is always with me. Then about a month later in April, I decided to get proactive with praying for my future husband and started to write letters for him and pray over each one. I truly started to understand how I can share everything with Jesus and treat him like my best friend. Then a few months later in May I felt led to create a faith account on Instagram where I decided to post scriptures, worship songs, sermon notes, and prayers that the Lord placed on my heart as I spent more and more time with HIM. Posting on this account has been so so powerful and I'm so thankful that I can use social media as an outlet to inspire and encourage others. As I've been strengthening my faith more and more these past few months, I decided I wanted to create a website and start a blog to continue to share my personal spiritual journey in hopes that it'll encourage someone. After all, if something I post or write about encourages just one person, that's one person that I'm able to touch through the word that God is giving me.

I am still learning so so so much as I continue to spend time with Jesus and read his word so in no way, shape, or form am I wise or perfect in any way; I wanted to create this website and blog for solely two reasons: to bring glory to God and encourage others while doing so. I still have SO much to learn but I am so excited to deepen my faith and grow in my spiritual journey and I can't wait to share it all with you guys! Again, I am so so thankful that you're here; all the glory goes to God and HIM alone.
